Libby's first Memorial Day weekend was an overwhelming success! She got to do so many fun things, like going to breakfast with Mommy, going to a wedding shower with Mommy and Grammie, having a cookout at her house and going to her friend Henry's first birthday party, where she got to hang with her boyfriends Henry and Noah! Libby was so good all weekend long. As you can see, she was very smiley. And all this, while she continues to recover from her first double ear infection! She obviously has her father's tolerance for pain (Mommy would laugh, because she thinks Daddy is somewhat of a baby). At her doctor appointment, Libby tipped the scales at a healthy 16 lbs. 4 oz. So, all in all, it was a most excellent kick-off to the summer season. And, to make it even better, Libby will get some extended time with Mommy tomorrow!Monday, May 25, 2009

Three Months Old!

Miss Libby on her throne, watching the Tribe.
Three-month-old Libby enjoying a lazy afternoon in her swing.
It's difficult to believe that Libby is already three months old. So much has happened in that time--Libby smiles on a regular basis, she has laughed on more than one occasion, her neck is getting strong so she can hold her head up and look around, and she talks all the time! She enjoys watching the Tribe with her Dad and shopping with Mom at Target and Carter's (they pretty much walk up to Westgate everyday). Libby is starting to pay attention to her toys and is sleeping almost through the night. Most importantly, Libby is looking forward to Sunday, when she can celebrate Mother's Day with her Mommy!
