Teething, Sitting and the Cleveland Browns!
This has been another interesting week for Libby. She is really teething at this point, so going to sleep at night has been somewhat of a challenge for her, as she has obviously been in some pain. But she has been in a good mood throughout most of the ordeal. Libby has also started moving around alot. She is all over her crib at night tossing and turning. In true Hanna fashion, she does not stay in the same place or position for very long. Libby is trying her best to crawl. It probably won't be long! Libby has also shown that she is able to hold herself up in the sitting position!
Go Browns and Brady!
Now, on to the important news. As you can tell by Libby's outfit, she's ready for some football! Browns camp opens on Friday, and Libby is pulling for Brady Quinn all the way! She can't wait to watch football with Dad--this will probably be her first experience seeing a grown man crying, swearing and acting like an infant. Next weekend is also important for another reason--it marks the return of Vacation Libby!

It's All Happening at The Zoo
Libby had another exciting summer weekend. On Friday night, she went to an art festival with Mom and Dad. Grandma and Grandpa Yandek were there and, of course, they bought Libby a pretty dress. On Saturday, Libby spent the day at Grandma and Grandpa's with Uncle Tony. Libby had lots of fun with everyone. Then, on Sunday, Libby made her first visit to the zoo! She got to see all sorts of cool animals--lions, monkies, flamingoes, kangaroos, and giraffes! Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Tony and Nellie were all there, so it was fun watching the animals and all the people, too!
The weekend ended with a birthday celebration for Aunt Reen. So, as you can see, it was a very busy weekend. Libby handled it very well. She is doing very well with everything! She is eating all sorts of different vegetables and oatmeal, she is rolling over back-to-front and front-to-back, and she has to put just about everything in her mouth. Her teeth will probably pop out any day now. Libby loves taking long walks, playing with her alphabet rings, and napping with Mom every now and then!Wednesday, July 8, 2009

Happy July 5th!
Libby celebrated her first Summer holiday in style. And, as usual, there was plenty of family involved. Libby spent the day Friday hanging out with Dad before Grandma and Grandpa Hanna took her to play with her cousins, Claire and Corrine, followed by a family dinner at Uncle Jerry and Aunt Lauren's.Saturday was a day to hang with Mom and Dad before going to Dad's friend's house for another cookout. Luckily/Thankfully/Fortunately, Libby slept through the Westover Avenue fireworks show. A certain young man in the neighborhood puts on quite a display every year, one that would rival some of the local municipalities. Mom, Dad, and Doug sat in the front yard like hillbillies watching the fireworks while Libby slept.
The great long weekend will wrap up with yet another cook out, this time at Grandma and Grandpa Yandek's.
