The Times, They Are A-Changin'

So far, Libby and 2010 are getting along just fine! Libby spent her first New Year's Eve with her friends Will and Henry at their house. Needless to say, the party did not last too late into the evening, and Libby, Mommy and Daddy all slept through the stroke of midnight. Oh well, at this point, sleep is far more important for all of us than staying up late to watch Ryan Seacrest. New Year's Day was much more eventful, as Libby hung out at home with Mom and Dad, Grammie and Papa and Aunt Reen. She watched lots of hockey and football and played with all her new Christmas toys.

There have been lots of new experiences for Libby in 2010 already. She is really quite mobile at this point, crawling wherever she wants to go and pulling herself up to walk from one piece of furniture to another. Mom and Dad have definitely had their hands full trying to keep tabs on Libby's whereabouts. However, most times, Libby can be found carrying on conversations with herself in front of a mirror. It is extremely entertaining. Libby has also been sampling various types of food, as she gets closer to her first birthday! Soon, Libby will be drinking milk and eating more "regular food." So far, Libby has tried peaches, pears, peas, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, hot dogs and waffles. The peas and waffles were a big hit. The mashed potatoes? Not so much.
